Effects of PREB 329–418 aa on PFV Tas DNA-BD and AD function. (A and B) HEK293T cells were transfected with pCMV-AD or pCMV-AD-Tas (1–220 aa), 3HA-PREB, LTR-Luc (A) or IP-Luc (B) and pCMV-β-gal. After 48 h, luciferase activity was measured. (C) PFVL cells were co-transfected with 3HA-PREB, Flag-Tas, Flag-Tas + 3HA-PREB, respectively. At 48 h post-transfection, cells were subjected to a ChIP assay as described in Materials and Methods. Subsequently, PCR amplification was carried out to detect LTR in the immunoprecipitated chromatin fragments.
