Number and percentage of amino acid variation sites and substitution type of the full-length coxsackievirus A12 (CV-A12) genome PJ201984 isolated in the study, as compared to the CV-A12 prototype strain Texas-12. Similar amino acid substitutions were classified as the substitutions within the same amino acid groups, including aliphatic amino acids (G, A, V, L, I), hydrophilic amino acids (S, T, C, M, N, Q), charged amino acids (D, E, K, R), and aromatic and heterocyclic amino acids (F, Y, W, H, P).
