Safety and immunogenicity assay of RDPV VLPs. Groups of raccoon dogs (n = 5) were intramuscularly immunized with 10 µg, 50 µg, 100 µg VLPs treated with Al(OH)3, inactivated RDPV vaccine, PBS. Blood samples were collected twice a week for HI antibody. The immunized raccoon dogs were euthanized after 14 days. a Images of injection site necropsy and tissue section captured by camera. b Changes in physiological parameters of immunized raccoon dogs after viral challenge.
