The protection afforded by vaccines against TMUV challenge. (a) Survival curves post challenge with TMUV. The immunized ducks (n = 10 per group) were challenged with 1 ml of 105.1 ELD50 TMUV at 12 days after the second immunization. The survival was recorded for 7 consecutive days after challenge and graphed by GraphPad Prism v7.0. (b) Viral loads in tissues from ducks after challenge. Viral loads of tissues (heart, liver, spleen, kidney and brain) from each group were measured by quantitative RT-PCR.
