Relative promoter activities of different MCPyV NCCR variants in MCC13 and human dermal fibroblast cells. Cells in 12-well plates were transiently transfected with 1 μg luciferase reporter plasmid containing the early promoter of MCPyV. Luciferase activity was corrected for total protein concentration of the sample, and the corrected value for the early consensus (late consensus, respectively) promoter was arbitrarily set as 100%. Each bar represents the average of three independent parallels + standard deviation.
