ELISA results showing the quantities of IL-2, IL-4, IL-10 and IFN-γ secreted by splenocytes. Splenocytes were prepared from 3 mice per group at 2 weeks after the second vaccination. Cell-free supernatants were harvested at 48 h after incubation and measured to determine the levels (pg/ml) of IL-2 (a), IL-4 (b), IL-10 (c) and IFN-γ (d) via ELISA in duplicate. Representative data are shown as the mean ± SD of 3 mice per group and were analysed using a one-way ANOVA (*p < 0.05, **p < 0.01, and ***p < 0.001)
