  1. 50 mg of old and symptomatic leaves of Vitis vinifera var. Cabernet Franc was used in RNA isolation using Spectrum™ Plant Total RNA Kit (Sigma) with standard protocol (Standard) or modified protocol with 2.5 % of PVP-40 being added in the lysis solution (Modified).
