Comparative study of growth of EV71-B5 RG and wild-type (wt) viruses. (A) Growth titer (TCID50) of six rescued EV71-B5 RG viruses at different passages in Vero cells. Each column represents the arithmetic mean value of two duplicated experiments. (B) One-step growth curves of three selected B5 RG viruses and the wild-type B5 in Vero cells. The cells infected at a MOI of 1 were harvested at several time points and the virus titer (TCID50) was determined. The data shown are the arithmetic mean values of duplicated experiments.
