From: Evaluation of adenovirus capsid labeling versus transgene expression
Direct in vitro analysis of luciferase activity of an adenovirus with a capsid-incorporated Luc protein or E3 expressed Luc protein. Luciferase activities were measured from 1010 VP of CsCl gradient purified Ad-wt-pIX-Luc viral particles, Ad-wt-E3-Luc viral particles, or cell lysis buffer. Values are expressed as relative light units/VP. The values are expressed as the mean ± standard deviation of three replicates. The asterisk indicates a P value of 0.002 for the comparison of Ad-wt-pIX-Luc to Ad-wt-E3-Luc, which was performed using the two-group t test.
