(a) Platelets from a patient with Glanzmann thrombasthenia (GT PLT) and normal platelets (Normal PLT) were analyzed for αIIbβ3 expression using indirect flow cytometry. (b) Functional αIIbβ3 deficiency of GT platelets was confirmed by a fibrinogen (FBG) attachment assay.
