Comparisons of CAT expression levels in uninfected CEF or rMd5-infected CEF cells transfected with the plasmids including the complete or divided promoters. Transfected cells were harvested and lysed by 3 repeats of freeze and thraw The lysed samples were analyzed for CAT activity in 96-well plate of Roche's CAT ELISA kit.
