Incorporation of ribavirin (, panel B) into viral RNAs and subsequent translation of excess mutated Envmt viral proteins, causing abnormal relative Envwt: Envmt concentrations and Env:RNApol interactions dominated by Envmt:RNApol interactions that cause increased RNApol fidelity and reduced processivity.
