Plasmids expressing DING and PstS proteins were transfected into HEK 293T cells along with a reporter plasmid containing: A) luciferase downstream of a promoter containing two NFκB binding sites (pBIIXLuc); B) a IL-8 reporter containing the IL-8 gene promoter; C) pBIIXLuc with and without the IκB super-repressor expressing plasmid. The data were normalised with a third plasmid containing Renilla luciferase under the control of a thymidine kinase promoter.
