From: Lycorine reduces mortality of human enterovirus 71-infected mice by inhibiting virus replication
The effect of lycorine on self-limited mouse model. The self-limited mouse model was established with a moderate dose of MP10 infection as described in the methods. The infected-mice were treated with placebo or lycorine at a dose of 0.4 mg/kg. The muscle tissues were sampled at 1 dpi, 3 dpi, 5 dpi and 9 dpi respectively (n = 6). A, the viral replication curve were determine by qRT-PCR (*: p < 0.05). B, the viral burden was confirmed by semi-quantitative RT-PCR.
