^aTCID₅₀/ml of CAS fluids in MDCK cells in serum-free growth medium plus trypsin. CAS fluids were pooled from four ECE and harvested 48 - 72 hrs after infection of 9-day old ECE with 10² to 10³ TCID₅₀ units of virus and incubation at 34°C.
