(A) The multinucleated dense nucleated and vacuolar cells cytoplasm confirms the type II pneumocytes under PAP imaging. (B) The complete membrane fusion of type II pneumocytes (two) with moderate immunofluorescence using SARS-CoV-2 spike protein-specific primary antibody indicates the presence of the virus. (C) The SEM image (surface ultrastructure) of type II pneumocytes showed small microvilli-like structure, characteristics of type-II pneumocytes.
