Replication and production of infectious virus after ZIKV and WNVKUN infection of Vero, HTR8/SVneo and BeWo cells. Infection rates of the two viruses on the different cell lines was initially assessed by Flow Cytometry. Basically Vero (A), HTR8/SVneo (B) and BeWo cells (C) were infected with either WNVKUN or ZIKV at an M.O.I. of 1 and supernatants were collected at 48 h post-infection. Infected cells were identified with anti-E (4G2) antibodies and AF488. Analysis was performed on a BD LSRFortessa analyser. For the virus release: cells were infected with either WNVKUN (D) or ZIKV (E) at an M.O.I. of 1 and supernatants were collected at various time post-infection, namely 12, 24, 48, 72 and 96 h.p.i..
