Type I interferons induced by msiHBx protected L929 cells from EMCV infection. PBMCs were transfected with siHBx or msiHBx at concentrations of 20 nM. The levels of IFN-α (a) and IFN-β (b) in supernatants were detected at 72 h by ELISA.
