Analysis of the 3A mutant viruses by immunofluorescence. Confluent BHK-21 cells were infected with the wt or mutant viruses. After 6 h incubation at 37 °C, the cell were fixed and stained with FMDV specific anti-3A or anti-3B MAb, followed by incubation with fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC)-conjugated secondary antibody. The cells were visualized under a laser-scanning confocal microscope (LSCM, Leica SP8). Bar, 25 μm
