Binding of commercial anti-E antibodies to the unglycosylated GL. PEG-purified TMV-GL, TMV, and ZIKV rE from E. coli (rE(−)) were separated on 4–20% SDS-PAGE gel under reducing conditions and then blotted onto a nitrocellulose membrane. The membrane was then incubated with a polyclonal anti-ZIKV envelope protein antibody, b polyclonal anti-envelope protein antibody from MR766 strain of ZIKV, or c) polyclonal anti-DENV-2 envelope protein antibody. (−) indicates the lack of glycosylation
