HDAC1 knockdown inhibits HIV-1 replication. a HeLa-CD4-LTR-β-gal cells were transfected with 15 nM siHDAC1 (Hs_HDAC1_5) or control siRNA (GFP-22 siRNA) and, 48 h after transfection, were infected with NL4–3 HIV-1 virions (10 ng p24 per 8 × 104 cells).
