The evolutionary history of the VP2 protein of viruses in the Aquabirnavirus and Blosnavirus genera was inferred by using the maximum likelihood method based on the Le and Gascuel model. A total of 1134 amino acid positions was used for the phylogenetic analysis. The bootstrap consensus tree inferred from 500 replicates is taken to represent the evolutionary history of the taxa analyzed. Numbers presented at each branch point represent bootstrap percentage from 500 replicates. Accession numbers of each amino acid sequence used are indicated at the beginning of each sequence.
