Confirmation of effective transfection in co-cultured 293 T and MDCK cells and virus production in MDCK cells. The expression of viral proteins was detected in transfected co-cultured 293 T and MDCK cells (a) and in re-infected MDCK cells (b) at 48 h post transfection/infection by western blotting with anti-M2 polyclonal antibodies. (c) Detection of mRNA M1 in infected MDCK cells. The MDCK cells were infected with supernatant from co-cultured 293 T and MDCK cells. At 48 h post-infection, the cell lysates were used for RNA purification and mRNA specific to M1 was determined by RT-PCR
