Electron microscopy of the MARV VLPs. At 96 h post-infection, the mixture of supernatant and cells was collected. The samples were stained with 1% sodium phosphotungstate and then observed via transmission electron microscopy. a and b showed long fiaments shaped in several different form to authentic MARV. MARV VLPs had a diameter of approximately 50 nm (a) or 100 nm (b). Bar = 200 nm
