Distinct distribution of CD11c expression on CTLs of BALB/c and C57BL/6 mice. Both BALB/c and C57BL/6 mice were inoculated intraperitoneally with 5 × 103 PFU of MCMV Smith strain. DMEM was injected into the (uninfected) control groups following the same study design. Lung, spleen and peripheral blood samples were harvested from each mouse and analyzed at 7 days post infection (dpi). a The percentages of CD8+ T cells in lungs of control and MCMV groups are shown.
