Verification of the protein expression levels of CypB gene identified from the forward SSH library with western blotting. The MDBK cells at hours 0, 2, 4, 8, 12, 18 and 24 post infection were collected and lysed in cell lysis buffer (20 mM Tris [pH 7.5], 150 mM NaCl, 1% Triton X-100, sodium pyrophosphate, β-glycerophosphate, EDTA, Na3VO4, leupeptin). The lysates were subjected to SDS/PAGE and Western blot analysis with anti-Cyclophilin B antibody (diluted with 1:1000). β-actin was used as an internal control. An increased expression of CypB gene was observed in the ORFV-infected MDBK cells, especially at 4 h post infection. There were no obvious changes observed in the levels of β-actin
