DENV 2 infection of HEK293T/17 cells with down-regulated fatty acid synthase (FASN). HEK293T/17 cells were treated with siRNAs targeted to FASN (FASN1 and FASN4) or a control siRNA (GFP) or not treated (DENV) and subsequently infected with DENV 2. At 24 h.p.i both percentage infection and virus titer were determined. Experiments were undertaken independently in triplicate, with duplicate plaque assay.
