qRT-PCR confirmation of 8 randomly selected mRNAs from the microarray analysis. Average fold changes of gene expression in DT40 cells at 24 h following vvIBDV infection, as determined by qRT-PCR and microarray analysis, are shown. The expression of selected mRNAs in vvIBDV-infected cells together with the expression of mock-infected controls was validated by qRT-PCR using a pair of specific primers and a probe for each mRNA. The fold change was calculated based on endogenous control normalization. Data are expressed as the mean ± SD of triplicate reactions for each gene transcript
