Multiple rounds of selection with NDV decrease susceptibility of BA3NI to NDV cytolytic effect at 72 hpi. After nine rounds of selection, BA3NI-C1-I9 (a, b) and BA3NI-C2-I9 (c, d) show decreased susceptibility to NDV cytolytic effect compared to BA3NI-I0 (never infected cells) (e, f). Cell counting shows that BA3NI-C1-I9 and BA3NI-C2-I9 have roughly 36 and 45 times more cells than naïve infected cells at 72hpi (g).
