Different quantities of live L. reuteri Protectis bacteria were incubated with a fixed amount of EV71, CA6, CA16 or CB2 virus particles for 1 h. The mixtures were then centrifuged and filtered to obtain free virus in the supernatant. Virus titers were determined by plaque assay using RD cells.
