From: A heat-inactivated H7N3 vaccine induces cross-reactive cellular immunity in HLA-A2.1 transgenic mice
HLA-A2-restricted influenza-specific CD8 + T cell responses in AAD mice. Groups of AAD mice (5/group) were immunized i.p. with 500 HAU of live (a) or heat-inactivated (HI)-H7N3 virus (b). Twelve days later, influenza-specific CD8+ T cell responses were measured in cells from freshly isolated splenocytes of individual mice by use of an ex vivo IFN-γ-ELISPOT assay with the indicated peptides.
