PEDV does not block the activity of TBK1/IKKε. IECs were infected or mock-infected with PEDV at an MOI of 1 for 12 h, and then cells were cotransfected with the IFN-β promoter luciferase reporter and TBK1/IKKε expression plasmids or vector for 24 h. Cells were then retransfected with poly (I:C) as a positive control for 12 h. Cells were harvested and subjected to a dual-luciferase assay. Data were analyzed and the ratio of firefly luciferase expression to Renilla luciferase activity was shown. All data are expressed as means ± SD of 3 independent experiments. **p < 0.01 compared with PEDV-infected, expression plasmids or vector-transfected control
