Body temperature and survival curves of dogs inoculated with the SW/3/06 virus. Eight-week-old specific pathogen-free Beagles (three per group) were inoculated i.n. or i.t. with 104.6 EID50/mL of the SW/3/06 virus. (A) Body temperature after inoculation with SW/3/06 virus. (B) Survival curves. Although they had equivalent mortality rates (100%), the i.t. inoculated group had significantly longer survival than the i.n. inoculated group (log-rank test, P =0.0065).
