Detection of IPNV bound to membrane proteins from CHSE-214 cells and RK-13 cells. Membrane proteins from CHSE-214 and RK-13 cells were separated on SDS-PAGE, transferred onto a nitrocellulose membrane and incubated with IPNV-1p (TCID50 ml-1 approx. 105) (lanes 1–3) or PBS without IPNV (lanes 5–6). Bound virus was detected using anti-VP3 as primary antibody. The positive control (+ctr) consisted of IPNV-1p. The asterisks indicate specific IPNV-binding proteins.
