Survival curve of mice infected with C-PA or WSN. Groups of 4 mice were inoculated intra-nasally with 106, 105, 104, or 103 plaque-forming units (PFU) of C-PA (A) or 105, 104, or 103 PFU of WSN (B) in a volume of 50 μL. The survival curves of the mock-infected (C) and non-treated (control) (D) mice are also shown. Survival status was monitored daily. LD50 is indicated above the graph (A and B).
