Figure 1From: Establishment of persistent infection with foot-and-mouth disease virus in BHK-21 cellsEffect of ammonium chloride on the yield of FMDV genome RNAs in BHK-21 cells. 5 × 105 BHK-21 cells were infected with FMDV at a m.o.i. of 0.01 PFU/cell and maintained in 5% FBS MEM without (0 mM) or with different concentrations of ammonium chloride (10, 20, 30, 40 mM ), respectively. Viral genome RNAs were extracted and performed on qRT-PCR every 6 h from 0 h.p.i. to 30 h.p.i. The unit of Y axis is Log10 RNA copies per 105 cells, which were evaluated and corrected using qRT-PCR for quantitation of GAPDH. All the cell samples were tested in triplicate.Back to article page
