Large terminase sequences of DEV(UniProtKB accession code C6ZD26), HSV-1 (P04295), HCMV (P16732), EBV (P03219), bacteriophage T4 (P17312), bacteriophage P7 (Q5XLR0) and bacteriophage HK97 (Q9MCT1) were aligned with the ClastalW2 multiple sequence alignment program[42]. The P7 terminase sequence was adjusted manually for the significant deviation in the distance between the motifs.
