B) Sequence alignment from the M018/M017 intergenic region. Insertion and deletion mutations are shown and the relative TRs are indicated. The asterisks mark the site of the insertion of the extra TR (designated TR5) in strain 87. Dashed lines represent sequences absent from particular strains. Highlighting is used to indicate degrees of homology between strains. The sequence alignment starts at nucleotide 18261 in Lu and the sequence is the reverse complement of the Lu published sequence.
