  1. All specific activities were given by the manufacturer and were titrated by using a cytopathic effect inhibition assay. The units are determined with respect to international reference standard for human interferon alpha α provided by the National Institutes of Health. Units of activity were measured in bovine MDBK cells with vesicular stomatitis virus (VSV).
