Confocal analysis of APCs infected with a recombinant HSV-1 expressing GFP. DCs and macrophages isolated from STAT1-/- or STAT1+/+ wild-type control mice were infected with GFP-VP22 virus. Twenty-four hours post infection, cells were reacted with anti-CD11c-PE or anti-F40/80 Ag-PE mAb. Panel A. Macrophages stained with F4/80 Ag-PE (red signal) and nuclear counter-stained with DAPI (blue signal), revealing GFP (green signal). Panel B.
