L1 HPV-16 transgenes integration. Twenty micrograms of genomic DNA were extracted from tomato leaves as described in the text and restricted with EcoRI, separated by agarose electrophoresis and blotted on to Hybond-N+ nylon membrane. The membrane was hybridized with the 670 bp EcoRI/BamH1 fragment of the HPV-16 L1 gene. (A) Transgenic lines L1. (B) Transgenic lines L1-E6/E7. wt: non-transformed plant.
