Five mg of the glycoprotein asialofetuin were immobilized on a 10 ml sepharose column. A total of 25 μg of RTB/p24 purified protein were loaded on to the column. Lane 1, protein not retained by the asialofetuin-sepharose column. Lane 2 column washes. Lane 3 through 5, fractions retained on the column. Immunodetection was performed using the anti-ricin polyclonal antibody at 1/2000 dilution. The arrow indicates the expected protein (57 kDa).Back to article page
