Comparisons of CIMM-HCV from sera and their corresponding isolates. The sequences from bases 71 to 315 were aligned using ClustalW. Rooted trees were then drawn using MegAlign in DNASTAR. Branch lengths are proportional to numbers of changes between the sequences. A) Rooted tree of 081 serum and PCLB-T7 sequences. Duplicate sequences from 081 serum and PCLB-T7 were combined into single leaves. Twelve PCLB-T7 sequences were identical to nineteen 081 serum sequences.
