  1. aGanglion grafts or freshly isolated ganglia were dissociated and stained with vital DNA dye and trypan blue. The total numbers of small cells (10–50 μm) and large cells (larger than 50 μm), as well as the number of live cells in each size category, were determined by microscopic examination.
