¹The neuronal precursor cells were isolated from human fetal brain by Dr. Olag Kopyov (see acknowledgment). They were designated T (telencephalon, suspension cells) and M (metencephalon, adherent cells). Each sample represents a monthly harvest of cell culture supernatant that were tested for the presence of positive-strand HCV RNA.
