The structural components common to pre-tRNA are highlighted. The site of cleavage by RNase P or M1 RNA is marked with scissors. (B) The substrate and M1GS ribozyme constructed in this study. The targeted sequence and guide sequence of the ribozyme are lettered in black and in blue, respectively.
