Titers and LD 50 change of the virus after passage in CECs. The CTN-1 V strain was propagated in Vero cells and then transferred to CECs. The replication fitness of the virus in cultured cells or in adult mice were investigated using the fluorescence focus inhibition test (circle solid line) and the MIT test (black triangle dotted line), respectively.
